US farmers say Brazil keeps edge in China's soy market despite trade truce
Most of the border crossings between Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRCongo) now have temperature checks to avoid the spread of Ebola, an Angolan sanitary source told Lusa on Monday.
Angola’s national health director, Isilda Neves, said there had been no suspected cases of Ebola detected so far and that the Angolan response to the outbreak was to bolster border surveillance in the north of the country.
The Ebola outbreak in DRCongo has already claimed the lives of more than 20 victims and the World Health Organisation (WHO) said that Angola was one of the countries most at risk of propagation as it shares a border of more than 2,500 kilometres with its northern neighbour.
