Sao Tome and Principe President dismisses government, blaming 'inability'
Angola’s currency appreciated for the first time this year after having dropped under the 350 kwanzas/euro barrier and is now at 349,609 kwanzas/euro, but it is still depreciating against the dollar, the country’s central bank (BNA) said on Thursday.
A communiqué from the BNA said the exchange rate was set on Wednesday after the 59th foreign currency auction where it provided €50 million to 14 commercial banks.
