The United States of America (US) is expected to boost cooperation with Angola to promote environmental and animal tourism in the country.
The intention was expressed this Tuesday in Luanda by the chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives of the world’s most powerful nation, Ed Royce.
Ed Royce, who heads a seven-congressmen delegation working in Angola, expressed an interest in boosting cooperation with Angola, mainly in the promotion of habitat and animal life.
The delegation of American congressmen works specifically with wildlife and environmental issues, hence the interest in establishing cooperation in this field.
Ed Royce also stated that his country has also supported the electoral process in Angola and other areas of vital importance for the country’s development.
Also on Tuesday, the delegation of seven US congressmen held a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, who reviewed issues related to parliamentary cooperation.
