Mozambique: Activists denied right to march in Maputo - AIM
Angola and Mozambique jointly examined aspects of enhanced bilateral defence cooperation, in mid-January, at a meeting between delegations from both countries, an official note revealed on the occasion.
According to the communique from the Angolan Ministry of National Defence and Veterans of the Homeland, aspects related to strengthening cooperation between Angola and Mozambique in the military field were the focus of a meeting held on 12 and 13 January in Luanda.
The Angolan delegation was headed by Minister of National Defence and Veterans of the Homeland, João Ernesto dos Santos “Liberdade”, while Mozambican Minister for National Defence, Jaime Bessa Augusto Neto, headed a delegation of four individuals.
The meeting was one of a series routinely held by the defence and security bodies of the two countries.
