The president of Switzerland Alan Berset and his wife Mrs. Muriel Zeender Berset met a Swiss business delegation in Maputo this Friday morning, which included MozParks, MSC, Mozambique Leaf Tobacco (MLT), Puma Energy, Swiss Solar, Musiarte and Mwendo Engineering.
Adrian Frey, President of the Moz-Swiss Chamber, told the guests that Switzerland has created over 200 000 direct and indirect jobs in Mozambique with the MLT being the biggest employer. “These are impressive numbers”, said Mr Frey, “but we can do more by working together between the private sector and the Swiss Government”. “The Swiss companies in Mozambique have become role models in job creation and sustainable future development,” he added.
