Mozambique is registering 30,000 real estate properties in favour of the state - minister
Almost a year after the Airports of Mozambique (ADM) crisis meeting, the national airports management company’s first steps towards the transformation of airport terminals across the country have begun to take place.
Last week, the city of Maputo hosted a seminar on business opportunities at airports, an event that turned into a showcase for potential investors in the ambitious project.

ADM, which manages about 20 airports, intends to establish public-private partnerships to ensure the transformation of airport terminals into centres for the establishment of a wide range of businesses.
At Maputo International Airport, the aim is to develop an airport city over an area of about five hectares, including a five-star hotel, shopping centres, housing area, leisure spaces and a cultural recreation centre.
Plots available include the airport mall surrounds and car park and the former site of the Chinese shipyard.
