Air Botswana announced the appointment of its new Board of Directors (June 27, 2025), comprising a diverse group of professionals with extensive experience in aviation, finance, and business administration.
The Board is chaired by Mr. Dane Kondić, with Ms. Adelaide Selolwane serving as Vice Chair and Chair of the Risk & Audit Committee—expected to steer the airline towards “sustainable growth, operational excellence, and enhanced stakeholder value,” outlined the airline in a statement.
“The Board’s collective expertise is instrumental in supporting competitive strategic objectives,” stated Air Botswana.
It should be recalled that Dane Kondic had been introduced as Chair of the newly appointed Management Committee of Mozambique Airlines – LAM only a few weeks ago (May 13, 2025).
NewsAero Africa writes this Saturday that “Kondić now faces the challenge of reviving two struggling state-owned carriers”.
