African Beach Volleyball Championship: Mozambique crowned U21 Women’s champions

The Mozambican duo of Verónica and Nádia were crowned African Beach Volleyball champions in the Under-21 category yesterday, after beating Egypt 2-0 in the final of the competition. The scores were 21/16 and 21/15.
In the men’s competition, the Helton-Edmilson duo won the silver medal, after losing to Namibia 2-0. Mozambique has already qualified for the World Cup in Mexico in this category.
