Mozambique: DP World launches expansion project at Port of Maputo - AIM report

The meeting between the Mozambique-United States Chamber of Commerce (CCMUSA) and ACERO took place yesterday, an important milestone for strengthening commercial relations and the growth of the construction sector in Mozambique.
The purpose of the event was to welcome ACERO, which recently became a member of CCMUSA and decided to invest in the Mozambican market. President of CCMUSA, Onório Manuel, pointed out that Mozambique is in a continuous and growing process of infrastructure development. In this context, ACERO’s presence is seen as a significant contribution to the advancement of civil construction and the establishment of strategic partnerships with various CCMUSA members.
“The growth and modernization of infrastructure in Mozambique are priorities for our country. The entry of ACERO, a company with vast experience and expertise in the sector, represents an important asset in achieving our development goals. We believe that the collaboration between CCMUSA and ACERO will promote significant progress and the creation of new market opportunities,” said Manuel.
For his part, Jaime Joaquim, a member of CCMUSA’s Board of Directors, also reiterated his enthusiasm for ACERO’s integration. “We believe that this partnership is fundamental for the development of productive relationships and for ACERO’s growth in the national market. We are confident that CCMUSA will provide the necessary support to maximise the impact and benefits of this new collaboration,” concluded Jaime Joaquim. ”
