Mozambique: Nelsa Guambe opens solo exhibition in Maputo

In 2024, the Bank reinforced its commitment to promoting art and music by supporting the Xiquitsi Project, an initiative which has brought the magic of classical music to hundreds of young Mozambicans, providing them with new perspectives and opportunities.
This support is part of Absa’s citizenship strategy, which sees culture as a powerful means of social inclusion and empowering talent. More than just an artistic initiative, the Xiquitsi Project has been a true instrument of transformation, allowing children and young people aged 6 to 25 to develop their potential through the collective practice of music.
