The Absa Bank Group has been certified as a 2022 ‘Top Employer’ in Africa by the Top Employers Institute.
Being certified as a top employer shows the organization’s dedication to creating a better working world by implementing best practices and human resources policies.
This recognition reinforces the group’s commitment to guaranteeing the best working conditions, so that its employees can evolve at all levels.
“This distinction is the result of joint work and strengthens our commitment to building an organization that recognizes that people are its strength, attracting the best talent, and prioritizing the well-being, learning and development paths of its employees,” said Managing Director of Absa Bank Mozambique, Rui Barros.
The Top Employers Institute annually certifies companies that stand out for their standards of excellence at the most varied levels in terms of good human resources practices. For the award of the certificate, different areas were evaluated, such as strategy and talent management, workforce planning, learning and development, reception, compensation and benefits, among others.
With this award, Absa reinforces its positioning in the market as a Pan-African bank, highlighting the work that the institution has developed in the continuous improvement of its staff, classifying it as an employer of choice.
