Mozambique: Unemployment increased 1.8% in Q4 over Q3 2024

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, through the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Exports, IP (APIEX) will be holding the 58th Edition of the Maputo International Fair – FACIM 2023 – from August 28 to September 3 at the Ricatla International Centre for Fairs and Exhibitions in Marracuene district, Maputo province.
Under the motto, “Diversification of the National Economy in the Context of Continental Integration”, the 58th edition of FACIM will showcase the country’s potential for production and export, as well as promoting business and investment opportunities in the various segments of economic activity.
FACIM constitutes a platform for exchange and cooperation, and will have a series of activities, which include exhibitions, seminars, promotion sessions and contact exchanges.
These sessions will address, among other topics, the following:
At the same time, FACIM 2023 edition delivers innovations such as the new Lusofonia (CPLP) pavilion; the agricultural sector pavilion; the sports pavilion, and a new promotion mode.
FACIM 2023 is expected to attract more than 2,500 national and foreign exhibitors from around 25 countries and 450 foreign companies, distributed among ten pavilions and free spaces.
All economic sectors, economic associations, public and private companies, national and foreign, are invited to participate in the fair.
