35-year-old woman raped to death by five men in Xipamanine, Maputo

A 35-year-old woman who lived in Maputo’s Xipamanine neighbourhood was raped and murdered by five men at around 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, in a street next to the sports field of Bela Vista, police said.
The police spokesman for the city of Maputo stated that this is a case of first degree murder, and said the men responsible had been identified and were being held in the 9th precinct police station.
