Júnior Geremias only attended school up until Grade 6. Screen grab: Voa
Using only TVs, video players, radios and other electronic devices thrown out as trash, 23-year-old Júnior Geremias has started a community radio and television station for his neighbours in the Belenenses neighbourhood in Nampula city.
Junior uses his signal to sensitise young people about disease prevention, while his neighbours say his initiative is positive and ask that he be supported to further develop his ideas.
Júnior Geremias only attended school up until Grade 6, and says he learned how to do what he does through curiosity alone.
