Twenty-three domestic and foreign companies have cancelled their coal exploration licenses in Tete province, Mozambique, due to the fall in global commodity prices.
Five others are still evaluating the environmental impact of projects under consideration and four are waiting for coal exploration licenses in the country’s central province to be issued.
