The Ministry of the Sea, Inland Waterways and Fisheries announced the appointment of 21 new directors.
Minister Agostinho Mondlane appointed Ranito Chilaule for sectoral Inspector General; Felismina Armando C. Antia to national director of Maritime and Fisheries Policies; Leonid Santana Chimarizene for National Operations Director; Eugénio de Amarante to National Director of Studies, Planning and Infrastructure; Salomão Silinda to national director of the Legal Department; and Laurentina Cossa to sectoral Inspector General Deputy.
The minister also appointed Celso Lopes to National Deputy Director of Maritime and Fisheries Policies; Carla Manjate to National Deputy Director of Studies, Planning and Infrastructure; Angélica Dengo advisor to the minister; Lídia Abiba advisor to the minister; Olga Namalué as head of the Department of Administration and Finance; and Cláudia Tomás to Director General of the National Board of Fisheries.
Lúcia Sumbana becomes the national director of the National Institute for Fish Inspection; Fernando Momade national director of the Aquaculture Development Institute; Jorge Mafuca national director of the National Fisheries Research Institute; António Remédio Augusto director of the Fisheries School; and Carlos Riquixo national deputy director of the National Fish Inspection Institute.
Albino Magona takes over as director of Maputo fishing port; Estela Maússe as Deputy Director General of the National Fisheries Administration; Isabel Chaúca, national deputy director of the National Fisheries Research Institute; and Verónica Namachulua as national deputy director of the Institute for Development of Aquaculture.
