The PROMOVE Trade - Creating Competitiveness for Exports project, in collaboration with the National Institute for Standardization and Quality (INNOQ), hosts an information session on Technical Standards and Regulations for the Export of Fishery and Aquaculture Products to the European Union (EU) ).
The project team will present the first results and recommendations of the work carried out to date on the analysis of technical standards and regulations for the export of fishery and aquaculture products to the European Union market. These findings will dominate the various technical interventions to improve quality standards for Mozambique through the project, including but not limited to standardization, measurement traceability and conformity assessment (certification, testing, calibration). The project also includes measures to support small, medium and micro-enterprises selected in the priority value chains.
PROMOVE Trade - Creating Competitiveness for Exports is a project financed by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The main objective of the project is to improve trade, competitiveness and the business environment in Mozambique for greater market access for priority value chains with potential for export to the European Union. The project has a specific focus on the provinces of Maputo, Nampula and Zambézia.
