Webinar for dissemination of the book “Challenges for Mozambique 2020”
The Institute of Social and Economic Studies (IESE) will hold, on April 05 between 15h00 and 17h00 (Maputo time), the Webinar for dissemination of the book "Challenges for Mozambique 2020".
Moderated by Epifânia Langa (PhD candidate at Cambridge University), the debate will feature presentations on four themes:
- Theme 1 - "International Finance and the Formation of National Capitalism in Mozambique" (Speaker: Carlos Nuno Castel-Branco, IESE/Centro de Estudos sobre África e Desenvolvimento - CEsA).
- Theme 2 - "Tensions, Conflicts and Inconsistencies in the Relations between Fiscal and Monetary Policy in Mozambique" (Speaker: Yasfir Ibraimo, IESE).
- Theme 3 - "Challenges and Contradictions for an Approach on Labor and Employment in Mozambique" (Speaker: Rosimina Ali, IESE).
- Theme 4 - "Foreign Direct Investment and Socioeconomic Development in Mozambique: Dynamics, Tensions and Challenges" (Speaker: Michael Sambo, IESE).
