About the event
The scars represent the fight. Both heroes and cowards.
In the scene, two artists (Actor and Dancer) guided by the poetry of the writer Mia Couto, dramatically narrate the history of Africa and of Mozambique in particular in a contemporary perspective. A completely Africanist view of before and post-colonization through oral tradition and body expression (dance) of those who felt the discrimination and rejection of their personal, moral and cultural values lost in the conjuncture of Westernism. This piece seeks to give voice to those who remain silent, as a way to raise the flag of freedom to be and be in a united Africa and free of prejudice.
