About the play
Five women and five voices!
At the end of the afternoon, five theatrical plays will be presented by five different women. The idea of "theatrical plays" arose from the will to create a kind of exhibition made of living bodies. These living and female bodies will share stories in brief repetitive sequences. The themes addressed will be around the different realities and contexts of what it is to be a woman these days: tradition vs. modernity; the emancipated woman; the "deconstruction" of what it is to be a woman, awakening through this theatrical and artistic material a sense of reflection and criticism and debate.
This event is to celebrate international women's month. What will be presented is the result of a week of rehearsals and exchanges between these women, mostly actresses of different generations and backgrounds, but who are first and foremost Women.
