In Cabo Delgado, Mozambique, the poverty of the people and the richness of the soil still cannot be reconciled, and this is destroying the lives of hundreds of small-scale miners. Marcelino heads underground in an attempt to find rubies in a drill hole similar to the one in which his brother died.
Toni works tirelessly in a mine where hardly any gold remains. These are just two of the thousands of stories from this remote part of the world, but… did you know that your health also depends on your work?
