In a continent in affirmation with countries in a democracy constantly in question, with the rise of authoritarianisms, conflicts and social crises, activism is an important form of vigilance to powers and public policies, including in the defense of rights and essential freedoms.
Edalina Rodrigues Sanches, from Cape Verde, researcher and doctor in Political Science, Régio Conrado, from Mozambique, researcher, philosopher, and political scientist, form the panel for the debate on this theme, moderated by Márcia Laranjeira, Brazilian, PhD student in Cultural Studies and associated researcher at the Center for English Studies.
