Sarau de Poesia – Tribute to Eduardo White and Fernando Pessoa
Leo Cote & friends will pay homage to two Portuguese-speaking poets Eduardo White and Fernando Pessoa. With this recital we intend to cross two aesthetics and celebrate this poetry that indelibly marks the literary history of Portugal and Mozambique, respectively.
The poems that will be recited at this event were taken from various works. In the case of Fernando Pessoa, the three heteronyms, Álvaro de Campos, Ricardo Reis and Alberto Caeiro, as well as Fernando Pessoa himself, were used. Already by Eduardo White the poems are from the works Homoíne, The Parents of me, Poems of Science of Flying and the Engineering of being a bird, The Materials of Love followed by the Challenge to the Sadness and Until Tomorrow Heart.
