About the event
We challenge several authors to wear the skin of the great Renaissance Leonardo Da Vinci. Thus one is free to write a short story or chronicle about the celebrated figure Mona Lisa, one of the world-renowned but also enigmatic as well as fascinating and mysterious artistic compositions. Using the resources available and individual writing technique, one can 'fly' as much as he or she can when it comes to exploring narrative categories. From time, space, character creation, psychological and physical characteristics, etc. Creative freedom can be at the service of each author willing to participate in the workshop, telling the story that moves him to compose the chosen genre, the freedom to use Mozambican or European references, etc.
This writing process can also refer to Da Vinci's workshop, one's alter ego, if possible referring to a certain period of the day you write, if you perform a ritual, if for writing you need to create an environment specific, with music or absolute silence or if it is in the crowd.
The challenge is for each one to be able to tell their story in five to seven pages, bringing the brand new version of the story of Mona Lisa or Gioconda.
