The Brazilian artist Genivaldo Amorim will present on Wednesday May 8 at 6:00 pm a talk with the theme "Possible Pathways to Contemporary Art in the present day" where he will share his experience as an artist and curator in the city of Valinhos - São Paulo Brazil.
This conversation counts on the moderation of the curator Jorge Dias.
About Genivaldo Amorim
Born in Umuarama PR in 1973 and living in Valinhos SP since 1991, Genivaldo Amorim is a plastic artist, cultural producer and curator. As a plastic artist he works in various media, such as painting, drawing, installation, sculptures, photography and special projects, such as the World Body Project, a project that has already reached more than 80 countries to date. He has exhibited regularly since 1995 in Brazil and abroad, in countries such as Germany, Mozambique, Cambodia and Namibia.
As a cultural producer and curator, he has been working for more than a decade in the field of visual arts, with special emphasis on large projects such as Color Points, 60 years of Images by Haroldo Pazinatto, Walls in the Atlantic Forest, Brazilian Portraits and others.
