Poetry- Tribute for two
Tribute to two:
the "Open Window to Dreams" by Fernando Leite Couto and the "Pre-Texts To Say" by Mario Viegas
The Fernando Leite Couto Foundation will pay tribute to two notable figures:
- Fernando Leite Couto (1924-2010), patron of the Fundação Fernando Leite Couto house, for whom they continue the exercise of keeping his work alive, opening the windows of this house, so that new authors can have space to create and dream new artistic flights. It will be a recital session of Patron's poems taken from his Poetic Anthology RUMOR OF WATER and the CD of poetry, PRE-TEXTS TO SAY from Mario Viegas;
- Mário Viegas (1948-1996) poet, actor and above all admirable reciter of verses. His magnificent way of saying poetry is recorded on digital platforms, saying poems of several poets, such as Fernando Pessoa, Luís Vaz de Camões, Cesário Verde, Camilo Pessanha, Pablo Neruda, Berlitz Brecht, among others. In 1994 he received the title of Commander of the Order of the Infante D. Henrique from the hands of the then president Mário Soares.
