Mozambique: ENI Open Day
Poetry show
Fundação Fernando Leite Couto dedicates the poetry show of the month of May to José Craveirinha, considered the greatest Mozambican poet and whose literary contribution is all that can not be ignored in the construction of Mozambicanity. His vast work of high merit, having been awarded the Camões Prize, the most important distinction in Portuguese language. José Craveirinha, 1991, the first African, third author to receive the Camões Prize, after Miguel Torga, 1989 (Portugal), João Cabral de Melo Neto, 1990 (Brazil).
This show is a pretext for revisiting the works of this Poet, a symbol of the Mafalala, above all of the universal literature.
