About the movie
We will show topical films at regular intervals in an outdoor setting & in a socially distanced and safe manner. To start with we are offering this screening, at the legendary Cafe Sol, as a kickstart to the festive season & a nice way to round off 2020.
"It's a Wonderful Life" is a classic Christmas movie and is bound to make you feel uplifted, hopeful and a little bit teary eyed!
The Restaurant will be open from 1700hrs. There will be a restricted, but crucially yummy menu available throughout the evening (the full details of which are in the comments section below) & a full bar. We will screen the film once it gets dark at about 1830hrs
All profits from the evening will go to the VAMOS initiative - #todospormocambique - supporting the displaced people in the North through the campaign #todosporcabodelgado. I have been put in contact with the pharmacy that is supplying their medications at a reduced rate and will be transferring the profits from the evening directly to them to help to get on top of the outstanding account there. Cervejas De Mocambique will be providing free product in support of this and, as such, the value of all sales of 2M will also go to the charity as well as the money raised from the raffle.

Tickets are 1,000 meticais per person in advance. Ticket sales will close at 20:00hrs on Sunday the 29th November in order to prepare appropriate, socially distanced seating for each group.
