Born on January 1, 1946, in Chibuto, Gaza province, he recorded his first album in studio 1001 in 1972. Today, Alberto Mucheca has six albums.
Author of themes such as "Ulava Nikuyini", "Mu jhoni jhoni", "Aldeia 25 de Junho" and "Beijo", Mucheca is a maker of the root of marrabenta, who uses music to express his social and political joys and dissatisfactions. Themes such as premature marriage, prostitution, migration and love, are part of his original and relevant repertoire.
