Bruno Akani - Biography
Bruno Akani is a mozambican artist, who’s career started more than 15 years ago. Initially Bruno Akani played Gospel, Pop Rock, Blues and other genres. Having shared the stage with national artists like Stewart Sukuma, Mr. Bow, Ziqo, Liza James, and also International artist, like Freshly Ground, The Light House Band, Mango Groove, and others. Bruno Akani is also a social activist, having worked with young people as a mentor and as a friend. Early 2019, Bruno Akani decided to pursue his music career and become a full-time artist. Playing a variety of music styles, he is most in love with Blues, Pop Rock and Gospel music. Bruno Akani has done live performances in Canada, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and of course in his home town in Mozambique. The last time Bruno Akani was seen on stage was in December of last year, as the lead vocalist of an iconic Mozambican rock band, the RFs
Standing Still - About the Song
The world has been tremendously affected by Covid-19, and has suffered severely as a consequence of it. Because of this Bruno Akani, a Mozambican musician, composer and producer felt compelled to do something about it, by doing what he does best. So, he decided to write this song entitled Standing Still and share it with the world. The message of the song is about love. That with love people can live in a better world, with love people can live better lives and that with love families can have happier homes.
