About the event
The MAPKZN Trade will present a business fair at the Richards Bay (Umhlathuze Municipality civic center) on the 20th June. This engagement aims to facilitate intra-Africa trade relations in the SADC regions, primarily on the newly developed corridor linking Maputo and KwaZulu Natal (RSA).Our objective is to link private and public sectors in both regions through business platforms and trade consultations. As a reflection of our urgency to connect the destinations MAPKZN has decided on an event that will be the beginning of a journey that will house both private and public sectors under the same roof from both sides of the border. The trade fair which is coordinated by a Maputo partnership with Media Vital, will take place on the 20th June under the theme; sparking conversations in creating trade, culture and special skills relations between KZN and Maputo provinces. The initiative was stimulated by the newly developed corridor linking Maputo with Durban via Richards Bay. This is after the completion of the world class Maputo-KaTembe bridge alongside the 110km EN200 highway, linking the two regions. The public is invited to join the business fair and explore new business opportunities with KZN in Richards Bay.
