This event is a fusion of Poetry, Prose and Music in an experience around vulnerability and freedom and their meanings.
Eliana Nzualo is a Mozambican storyteller based in Maputo.
Through her blog ''Escreve Eliana, Escreve'' she explores topics such as Women, Africa, History and Politics.
She is a founding member of the collective Matabicho Feminista, which aims to be a space for debate and reinvention of Feminism in Mozambique.
In 2017 she was a speaker at TEDxMaputo and in 2018 facilitator of the artistic residency Colab Now Now.
In 2019, she integrated the international anthology ‘Negras de lá, Negras de cá’, which brought together writers from Angola, Brazil and Mozambique. It was in that year that he launched his first book “O Elefante Tendai e Os Primos Hipopótamos” by Editora Fundza.
Karen Ponto is a young Mozambican singer, songwriter and instrumentalist.
She was a pianist for the band “Soundalism”, having later published videos of acoustic interpretations of her idols in 2018, on Youtube.
She was part of the collective The Other Room and has accompanied artists such as Tégui, Guto D´Harculete, Iron Br11 and Pizzaw / Pinneapples in several houses of culture.
In 2019 she did her first solo show at 16Neto. She is the author and producer of the singles “Versosparamandaraocrush” and “Mar e Sol”.
