The root festival, in partnership with ARPAC, ECA and Fundação Couto, promotes on May 29 and 30, 2018, lectures on the theme "Tradition and Transformation", as part of the initiative that aims to stimulate ethnomusicology research. This initiative aims at making accessible the sharing of knowledge among ethnomusicologists, academics, artists, musicians, and in particular in research to students, arousing more interest in continuing this artistic aspect.
