Launch of the book “Taxation of companies in Mozambique: the tax on the income of the collective people”
The launching session will be attended by the author, Paula Rosado Pereira. The book will be presented by Pedro Rebelo de Sousa, founder and partner of SRS Advogados.
With the seal of the Editions Almedina, the book "Taxation of companies in Mozambique: the tax on the income of the collective people", of 166 pages, analyzes the fundamental aspects of the taxation of the companies, in the level of the Tax on the Income of the Collective People - IRPC. Its purpose is to facilitate the knowledge of the legal regime of this tax, through its systematisation and its theoretical framework.
It also presents a critical analysis of some points of the IRPC regime, given the continuous challenges of taxes in order to keep pace with the modernisation and increasing sophistication of corporate structures and practices. It aims to prove useful in legal, academic and business circles.
Paula Rosado Pereira holds a PhD in Law from the University of Lisbon, where she teaches at the Faculty of Law. Since 2000, she has taught Fiscal Law and several other taxation disciplines in undergraduate and master's degree courses. Member of the IRS Reform Commission in 2014, is an Attorney Specialist in Tax Law and Arbitrator in tax matters of CAAD - Administrative Arbitration Center.
