KANIMAMBO (KNMB) - Association for Supporting Albinism, presents a cycle of events to mark the 13th of June "International day for the awareness of albinism".
Events program
May:
11 - AISM MAYFAIR Awareness
Concert of music in date and place to be defined
June:
10 - Awareness raising Portuguese School of Mozambique
13 - Debate and Lecture - International day for the awareness of albinism (detailed program to be disseminated)
16 - 2nd Race With More Light (walking, running or cycling)
16 - African Children's Day Party
17 - Activities with Children with Albinism (alluding to the day of the African Child) and Medical Consultations
KNMB is a Non-Governmental Organization for Development (NGDO) that supports people with albinism (PCA) in Portuguese-speaking African Countries, especially in Mozambique.
Our mission of KNMB fundamentally in three main areas:
• Improve information for public opinion and in particular for PCAs;
• Support the actions of prevention of PCA, namely by sending sunscreens, sunglasses and panamas;
• Health care.
