About the event
Ivo Mahel started singing at the age of 8 and at the age of 10 formed the first band named “Conjunto 2002”. Performed in several children's parties until 16 years. At 18 he recorded his first original album at ORION. From 1997 until today he has recorded several albums, culminating with the 2019 album Minha Mulher, Moçambique, with the participation of 31 well-known Mozambican musicians.
Throughout his musical career he has participated in hundreds of large and small shows. Already shared the stage with big Brazilian artists like Alexandre Pires, Netinho de Paula, banda Sorriso Marfim, Carioca Brasileiro, Wando Brasileiro, Cape Verdeans such as Philipe Monteiro, Grace Évora, Suzana, Caló, Mariza, Calú de Brava, Banda Splash and other Angolan artists in the musical arena such as Bonga. From the Antilles Islands he shared the stage with the band Kassav. Mahel has performed in South Africa, Kingdom of eSwatini, Portugal, Brazil, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and Finland.
From 2007 to 2019, developed a project of action against the proliferation of piracy, acting physically and present in places such as: Malls, bazaars, informal markets in streets, traffic lights and traveling throughout the country, selling from direct way. A work that earned him Silver, Gold and Platinum Disc, with sales exceeding 40,000 units.
