About the event
The students of the Mungu School of Music of the United Methodist Church, pastoral office of Malhangalene, will present on June 21 the 3rd edition of the Recital of Classical Guitar which will consist of the interpretation of a learned repertoire of European composers.
This initiative aims to create a means of cultural exchange between students and the public; to allow an exchange of experience between students and musicians in general; promote classical guitar practice; to contribute to the promotion of peace in Mozambique through the arts, in general and music, in particular.
The session, led by Professor Queirós Júlia, will also include the participation of invited students from the School of Communication and Arts of the Eduardo Mondlane University and the Portuguese School of Mozambique - Center for Teaching and Portuguese Language.
About Queirós Júlia Inácio Nhabomba
Queirós Júlia Inácio Nhabomba, better known as Queirós Júlia, was born in Maputo in 1982 and holds a degree in Analytical Chemistry from Maputo Industrial Institute (2002-2005). In 2001, in parallel with the course of Chemical Laboratorial, began to study Classical Guitar at the home of his teacher Milton Chissano, in Maxaquene neighbourhood. In 2006 he changed Chemistry for Music, successfully competing for a degree in Music at Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) in Maputo.
