About the event
Ulisses Oviedo will be organising his 30-year-old memorabilia, adding vivid, deeply realistic yet simple and abstract elements.
Many of the testimonies of art, symbols and myths of the past appear in their forms, collages and decorative designs, laden with a meaning in which art becomes a dialect of numerous African styles, and a magical combination of colors resembling warrior masks and magic and cult dances
With audacious works Ulysses transports us to a universe of symbolism and mystery that aims to bring together two continents and tells us that art reveals the cultural power of people.
