About the documentary
This documentary is about music in the lusophone space. It focuses on a musical movement that emerges from the city of Lisbon - and that goes through Sara Tavares, Lura, Nell Assassin, SP & Wilson, Chullage, Da Weasel, Cool Hipnoise or Buraka Som Sistema - contextualizes it in the light of several historical, political, social and musical moments. It establishes the bridge with Africa (of Raul Indipwo, Tito Paris, Celina Pereira, Tcheka or Bonga) and Brazil (of Chico Buarque, Seu Jorge or Marcelo D2), evidencing the sharing of affections musical, aesthetic and the inspirations.
The documentary will be followed by a conversation with Ana Magaia and Nataniel Ngomane.
