About the event
As an artist, Da Vinci was one of the masters of topographic anatomy, conducting many studies on the human skeleton, muscles, nerves, tendons, and other visible anatomical features. Da Vinci also recorded the effects of human emotions, their physical and facial detail and was one of the first to realize the scientific design of a human fetus.
In addition to studies of the human body, Da Vinci also designed the anatomy of various animals such as horses, cows, birds, monkeys, bears and frogs, and compared his drawings and anatomical structure with that of humans.
In this sense, this dance-theater performance, the result of an artistic residency, seeks to explore these drafts, putting them in motion in the bodies of two actors/dancers, establishing a creative dialogue.
