Mozambique: ENI Open Day
Dance – Shifting, With My Voice
My voice is my body, and vice versa. My voice is my breath, it's the sculpture, it's the beat of my heart, it's the breathing of machines, it's the lyrics of my music, it's the beat created at dawn. This same voice has soul, has feelings and needs to be heard. Often, it changes direction depending on the situation. Sometimes it changes naturally, sometimes forcibly. But it has a soul and has feelings. It can be broken, quiet, trampled underfoot and threatened in various ways, but it has a soul and has feelings. Let me assert my voice, be it made of body, iron, steel, beats, pencil or love.
