CREATEC 2.0 covers four key phases:
1) Bootcamp / Hackathon: Three day training of 40 creatives (20 developers and 20 artists) to develop digital business ideas. The main methodology used is design thinking to find user-oriented technological solutions. Bootcamp are products or services that meet the requirements necessary to improve market access and ensure sustainability.
2) Professional Counseling: After training and setting up entrepreneurial groups there is professional counseling for a month to develop Minimum Viable Products / Prototypes.
3) Awards Final Gala: The Standard Bank Incubator offers a space for nine creative groups to present in Pitch format (3 min quick presentation) their innovative products. The best deals will be awarded.
4) Development of portfolios.
The Final Gala will take place on November 28 at 5 pm at the Standard Bank Incubator. The ceremony will bring together, entrepreneurs, government and cultural institutions representatives and other guests.
