Synopsis: the documentary Karingana - license to tell: deals with the formation and development of Portuguese language literature on the African continent, especially in Angola and Mozambique. Karingana is an expression of the tsonga language, spoken in southern Mozambique. It is used whenever a poet or storyteller initiates a narrative, such as ours, once upon a time and also a license request, made by the narrator before beginning to tell a new story. Between Brazilian songs and books, ideas and wishes across the ocean. Between the strength and potency of Maria Bethânia's interpretation and the words: Brazilian, Portuguese, Angolan, Mozambican, who created so many different worlds, invented in the same language.
