About the art exhibition
"Reflection was the theme I chose for this exhibition. Through the course I took to this stage what has inspired me lately, and after many other phases, the creative glimpses of the abstract are, in fact, a feeling of nostalgia. And, for the great longing, admired and positive, the mystique of Africa brings me bringing a lot of creativity. At this stage of my life, this is the best time to start a tour and present this phase, there being no better place than Fundação Fernando Leite Couto to do it. This theme will reflect a lot of Africa, giving more prominence to Mozambique, so that we consider the daily life and its beauties that inspire us so much". Lizzie Ana
About Lizzie Ana
Lizzie Ana is a Mozambican artist who was born in Maputo. She has travelled throughout the country and surrounding countries and other continents for several exhibitions and presentations. Lizzie Ana is a dreamer. She dreams of places still to visit. Her immense curiosity drives her to constantly search for and taste something new. Lizzie Ana has always been in love with all that is art; from painting, music, photography to literature. Since childhood, she’s enjoyed art. She is self-taught, in art and in life. Her creative spirit is expressed in her colourful oil paintings.
