Acoustic music with António Marcos
António Lodingue Matusse commonly known as António Marcos (born in Xiconela, Gaza on 10 June 1951) is a Mozambican musician that became famous composing and interpreting subjects in the musical genre Marrabenta, originating of the south of the country.
He recorded his first album in 1970, and since then he created or was a member of several musical groups with which he recorded some successes, always singing in his mother tongue xangana. His career has progressed greatly in recent years with his participation in the Mabulu Project, a musical group created in 1999 bringing together musicians of different generations and styles, from marrabenta to rap.
From this experience came the theme of great success Maengane, which marked the musician in such a way to become almost his stage name.
