About the event
Xigubo Solo Festival in its first edition will bring together more than 30 Xigubo performers without exception.
The Xigubo Solo Festival is held by the Hodi Maputo Afro Swing Cultural Association and aims to promote Xigubo dance, its performers, its origins and all around what is considered one of the most practiced dance expressions in Mozambique. Also part of the objectives of the Festival SOLO DO XIGUBO is the discovery of the best soloists of Xigubo.
Interested parties will be able to perform at the venue with their costumes and accompanying musicians. It should be noted that only the dancer will be classified.
