12th edition of marrabenta festival: tribute to António Alves da Fonseca
About António Alves da Fonseca
An indispensable figure for collective memory and preservation of the artistic and cultural legacy of Mozambique, António was the man who recorded in GOLO the first record of Marrabenta, immortalized the works of countless local artists. At that time it was difficult to record with local groups, they would appear in the joint studio but with difficulties.
