Rádio Moçambique was created on October 2, 1975, the year of nationalization of the radio production and broadcasting organs then in existence in Mozambique.
RM transmits in Portuguese (the official language and national unit as it is considered, because it allows communication between the various linguistic groups), in nineteen Bantu languages spoken in the country
