Museu De História Natural de Maputo

The Museum of Natural History was founded in 1911 and installed since 1933 in a beautiful building inspired by the Manueline style, built by the Town Hall. It is undoubtedly one of the most visited places of the city by both nationals and foreigners. It began by being the Provincial Museum, then the Dr. Álvaro de Castro Museum, and became, after independence, the Natural History Museum.
