Ministry of Culture and Tourism

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism was created by Presidential Decree no. 1/2015, of January 16, under the provisions of paragraph g) of article 4 of Presidential Decree no. 3/2015, of February 20, and in the use of powers delegated by the Council of Ministers pursuant to Article 1 of Resolution No 7/2015 of 20 April.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism is the central body of the State apparatus which, in accordance with the principles, objectives and tasks defined by the Government, coordinates, directs and plans the implementation of policies and strategies in the areas of culture and tourism.
